Arsenal Without Two Main Defender, Wenger Not Worried

London - Arsenal are expected will be without their two main central defenders, Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny, to fight this week. However, Arsene Wenger is not worried.
In a press conference ahead of the match against Newcastle United on Thursday (27/08/2015), Wenger called if Mertesacker still sick. Meanwhile, the condition Koscielny will still be monitored.
Both players do not play when they drew 0-0 with Liverpool in the second week. At that time, Callum Chambers and Gabriel Paulista performed as a duet central defender.
"Mertescaker still sick and we see how the Koscielny today," Wenger said on the club's official website.
"There's a possibility he (Koscielny) will be checked the condition of his back today and I'll know what it's like tomorrow morning. That is unlikely to be fit is Mertesacker."
"I really wanted them to be played, but it was part of a trip of the season. We can not complain of it," said Wenger.
Game against Newcastle will be held at St James' Park on Saturday (29/08/2015). In three games so far, the new Arsenal successfully collected one win.
