Liverpool - Everton manager Roberto Martinez, annoyed with Chelsea businesses about John Stones, despite repeatedly rejected. According to Martinez, The Blues should be aware that the Toffees do not want to release the best defender.
Stones so coveted Chelsea who need a refresher on the back line, especially after conceding 7 goals in three Premier League matches this season. However, Chelsea attempt to get the Stones got a big problem of Everton.
Twice as Chelsea bid worth 20 million and 30 million pounds rejected by Everton. Even to make the Stones submit a transfer request, but eventually rejected.
Reportedly Chelsea will not give up and with the transfer window remaining 3-4 days away, the team of West London was ready to offer funds of 40 million pounds as a final offer that Everton would release Stones.
Martinez was upset with the attitude that Chelsea continue to pursue Stones. For Martinez, the transfer will only happening if there is an agreement between the two clubs. For the case of the Stones, not like that.
"We're a club that has the player and we can say that we will keep him. We know there will be pressure coming and that is why our chairman deserves credit," Martinez said as quoted by Soccerway.
"In any transfer deal, the player can make the decision to accept the deal or the last, when the two clubs was agreed. In this situation, the two clubs there never was an agreement," he continued.
"There is certainly beautiful to think because you are possessed of funds team in the Champions League, then you will be able to do as they please and get what you want, because obviously we do not work like that," he concluded.
