Everton Reject Request Stones for Sale

Liverpool - Everton confirmed their intention to defend John Stones. The Toffees refuse Stones who want to sell.

Stones reportedly a target for Chelsea. But Everton are always rejected the offer coming for the 21-year-old defender. Twice a bid from Chelsea for Stones, respectively by 20 and 30 million pounds, was rejected by Everton.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez, also stated that he will not release Stones. Everton's insistence it was touted makes Stones embarrassed to finally make a request for sale.

But Everton refused requests Stones. Everton confirms that the Stones are not on the list selling.

"Everton Football Club have rejected a transfer request from John Stones," said Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright, in a statement released by the club's official website as reported by ESPN FC.

"Since the beginning of the transfer window, we firmly already rejected an offer from another Premier League club for our players."

"John is not for sale and he will remain a member of our squad are of high value," he said.
