Swansea - Three times in a row defeats Manchester United may be not a good luck for Swansea City. They believe that they are more of a complementary team in the Premier League.

Sunday (30/08/2015), just "five minutes" Swansea peck "Red Devils" at Liberty Stadium. Although left earlier by Juan Mata scored early in the second half, "The Swan" to turn things around with goals from Andre Ayew (61) and Bafetimbi Gomis (66) - and they won 2-1.

Swansea last season was always straddling MU with the same score: the first weekend at Old Trafford, and in the 26th week. With the score 0-3, Louis van Gaal "outclassed" by Garry Monk.

The last win was to make Swansea into one of three teams unbeaten in three games at the start of this season, in addition to Manchester City and Leicester City.

Sooner or later Swansea certainly not going to be a team that continues to be in the Champions League zone. As well as the teams that do well in the beginning of the season, usually later they will return to their habitat: the middle of the board, even the red zone.

But this time Swansea are showing determination to show potential. In fact, since diving debut in the Premier League in the 2011/2012 season, up to now they are capable of more than just not degraded. In its inaugural season, under the command of Brendan Rodgers, they finished in 11th.

In the following season, with Michael Laudrup, they climbed two places to ninth. But after that Laudrup decline until be fired in early February 2014. Monk, who was then still as player, was appointed as player / interim manager.

With 14 games remaining Monk can still give it five wins and 3 draw, despite losing 6 times. At least, Swansea remains safe with ranks 12th in the final standings. Monk also be used as a permanent manager and given a three-year contract.

The man who is now aged 36, was also demonstrated. During last season he returned to Swansea and brought lightening finish in eighth. That is the highest achievement in the history of Swansea in the top division of English football.
