Birmingham - Joleon Lescott no longer costumed West Bromwich Albion. Aston Villa have recruited 33-year-old defender in the summer transfer window closing.
Lescott has signed a two-year contract with Villa. Former Everton and Manchester City defender is a player the 11 recruits Villa this summer.
Lescott will compete with Ciaran Clark, jores okore, and former team-mate at City, Micah Richards, to fill the place in back line Villa.
"I am pleased to have brought Joleon. He is very experienced players in the Premier League and will greatly help the younger players in our squad," said Villa manager, Tim Sherwood, on the club's official website.
