Jakarta - transfer activity English clubs this summer broke the record shopping Premier League history. There is an increase of about 4% compared to last year the previous record.

"Total expenditure in 2015, a combination of the January transfer window and the summer, also gave rise to a new record by achieving the range of 1 billion pounds for the first time," he continued.

On the last day of the summer transfer window, the Premier League clubs have spent about 90 million pounds were also more 5 million pounds over the same period last summer.

With 870 million pounds this summer, the Premier League is also far behind other European leagues in terms of transfer spending in the summer of 2015-2016, with Serie A (405 million pounds and La Liga 400 million poundstelring) being the closest. 

Manchester City recorded as a club with the greatest contribution to break the record by spending about 160 million pounds this summer.

City also twice recorded broke the record his own club this summer after bringing Raheem Sterling (49 million pounds) and then Kevin De Bruyne (54 million pounds). City also recruit players like Fabian Delph, Patrick Roberts, and Nicolas Otamendi.

Manchester United is equally busy by spending 139 million pounds to recruit players like Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Four Premier League clubs competing in the Champions League this season, Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Manchester United, recorded spend a total of 340 million pounds, or about 40% of the value of overall spending this summer.

Remarkably, even such a promotion club Watford not want to lose to bring in new players. Overall Watford has brought 15 players and became the club's busiest in terms of quantity.
