Son Heung-min Will Prove He Deserves Purchased so Expensive

London - Tottenham Hotspur spend money to bring Son Heung-min from Bayer Leverkusen. Son will prove that he deserves to be bought at high prices.

Spurs reportedly have to pay about 22 million pounds for Son. The transfer value makes the striker South Korea as Asia's most expensive player in history.

Son, who is now aged 23, was signed by the Spurs until 2020. He will be wearing the costume number 7 in The Lilywhites.

"I feel responsible, also proud because Tottenham bought me that high," Son said as quoted by the London Evening Standard.
"Feeling appreciated is very important for the players. Now I will prove that I deserve," he said.

 For two seasons defend Leverkusen, Son scored 29 goals in 87 matches. He is expected to help ease the burden Harry Kane on the Spurs. Kane, who so brilliantly last season, has not scored a goal this season.

"There is competition in any team. First I had to get a place in the starting line-up first. I'm not going to rush. I want step by step," said Son.

Son has been introduced to the Spurs fans at home games against Everton on Saturday (08/29/2015). He admitted that he was impressed with the public welcome White Hart Lane.
