Starting the season with Bad, Arsenal Assessed Already Show Good Response

London - Arsenal started the season with a defeat at home games, which immediately makes them under pressure. But Gunners manager Arsene Wenger considered his team have demonstrated a very good response.

0-2 defeat from West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium opening Arsenal journey this season. Negative results that made them under pressure in the next matches.

Arsenal have struggled in the next three games. Two victories obtained so far can not be separated from the help of an own goal by the other players, each of which beat Crystal Palace 2-1 and Newcastle 1-0. While the other match ended in a 0-0 draw against Liverpool.

However, Wenger assess the players have shown a good response in these matches. Regardless of the results are less convincing, Santi Cazorla et al. rated show determination and persistence.

"We have not found a good performance at home. If you undergo a series of poor results in the course of the season game, everyone saw it could happen. But if you start the season with wrong, you immediately come under pressure," said Wenger told the Standard.  

"I think we responded very well to the pressure we faced immediately after the game against West Ham, and overall we responded very well. But we did miss the first game," he said.
