Premier League passed up to 17 weeks, no one thought Leicester could be at the top as it is now. They were on top of the standings with 38 points, ahead of teams sorts of Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Leicester so tempting sensation this season considering the Christmas period last year, they are still stranded in the distended position of the table and then saved from degradation and undergo a positive trend as it is now.
The question is now whether Leicester can survive and advance further? Considering they did not have the experience to compete at the top before. Not to mention about the issue of the transfer of two stars, Jamie Vardy and Ryad Mahrez, which constantly tempted the big teams.
Questioning the resilience of Leicester, Ranieri believes his side still have petrol to continue to step on the gas and drove as long as possible at the top of the standings.
Likened to Forrest Gump, famous Hollywood movies that tell men with low intelligence but have strong stamina to run, Leicester were without star player can do the same.
"Why do not we continue to run, run, run ?. We like Forrest Gump - Leicester is Forrest Gump," Ranieri said as quoted by Soccerway.
"I'm very confident because if Leicester is able to save themselves from relegation within two months, it means that their stamina is fantastic," he continued.
"We have to continue to play well and work hard. We know very well that our staminan very nice and good for our stamina, we can compete with anyone."
"Our fans will really enjoy this Christmas and this is great," he concluded.
The next exam for Leicester is a Boxing Day game against Liverpool at Anfield on December 26.
