Liverpool Without Skrtel For Six Week

Liverpool - Problems in the Liverpool back line increases with the injury suffered by Martin Skrtel. Skrtel got a hamstring injury and will be sidelined for six weeks.

Skrtel pulled out in the first half when Liverpool were defeated Watford 0-3 on Sunday (20/12/2015). Slovakian defender had to be carried by the medical staff of the Reds out of the field.

Skrtel was thought to be sidelined for up to three months due to a hamstring injury he suffered. But, he muffled rumors.

"After all the rumors, I want to say that I would not be out of action for three months. After I suffered a torn tendon in the hamstring and I, I will be out for six weeks," wrote Skrtel on his Instagram account.

"I will work hard in the recovery process and will do everything in order to return to play as soon as possible and even stronger than ever! Thank you for your support," said the 31-year-old man.
 
If estimates Skrtel right, then he will miss the Premier League match against Leicester City, Sunderland, West Ham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Norwich City. In addition, he will also miss the League Cup semi-final match against Stoke City and the FA Cup match against Exeter City.

Skrtel injury will increasingly dizzying manager Juergen Klopp, who have lost Dejan Lovren until January. He now only has Mamadou Sakho, who has recovered from a knee injury, and Kolo Toure to fill the position of central defender.
