London - Manchester City's victory against Arsenal so important achievement in pursuing the mission the Premier League title this season. But Mathieu Flamini emphasize journey is still very long.
Arsenal won 2-1 at home to City at the Emirates Stadium, (12/22/2015). Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud contributed one goal each, and returned one by Yaya Toure.
Three points that keep the Gunners remain in second position, attached to Leicester City in the top of the standings by a margin of two points. Arsene Wenger's team also opened within the City in the top three in which are now within four points.
This result could be a good momentum Arsenal towards the second half of the season. Especially lately they also stringing good results, with already unbeaten in their last six games. They even won five of them.
However, the long journey still to be taken by Arsenal considering the season still leaves 21 games again. It was emphasized Flamini, although also admitted his team is enjoying its current appearance.
"We face them (City) quite often so knew what to expect. We played well with solidarity great and I'm happy for all the players and fans, this is a Christmas present early," he said on the club's official website ,
"We are still very far from winning the title because this is not a sprint, it is marathon. We played well today and the communication on the field, the team spirit, as well as our amazing game."
